Dr. Naheed Daya was born in Kansas (USA) but raised in Edmonton and Toronto. She obtained her HBSc from University of Toronto, Trinity College. She then went on to attend Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine (DMD Program) and graduated in 2008. She has been inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. During her dental school years, she was a legislative liaison and advocated on Capitol Hill, meeting with various US senators, including Hillary Clinton, to promote universal dental care for children. In 2009, Dr. Daya completed a general practice residency program at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York, and returned to Alberta to practise.
Dr. Daya enjoys practicing a variety of dental procedures, including cosmetic, restorative and endodontics, and truly loves meeting new patients each day. She seeks to provide the highest quality of dental care to all her patients, developing treatment plans that are ideal for each individual patient. She is also committed to broadening her knowledge and skills and keeping abreast of new developments.
In her spare time, Dr. Daya likes to work out and spend time with family and friends. She enjoys dancing, especially Salsa, and is also actively involved in community service. Dr. Daya also speaks Kutchi and Spanish.
